25W230 Non-Oriented Electrical Steel

A thin-gauge, low-loss grade for high-speed and high-frequency machines where eddy current loss has to be kept low.

25W230 Non-Oriented Electrical Steel

25W230 is supplied at 0.25 mm for machines that operate at higher frequency, where eddy current loss rises with frequency and with gauge. The thinner lamination keeps that component of loss low while holding induction at a usable level.

Because thin material is more sensitive to handling and stacking, the strip is supplied with a coating tested for punching and stacking, in slit widths matched to your line, together with mill test certificates for magnetic properties, dimensions and coating class.
