Grade 50W800
50W800 Non-Oriented Electrical Steel
A general-purpose fully processed grade for small and medium motors, fans and pumps where economical core loss is the main requirement.

Non-Oriented
Non-oriented electrical steel has uniform magnetic properties in every direction of the sheet, which suits rotating equipment where flux paths turn through the lamination. Grades are selected by core loss and induction according to the efficiency class and operating frequency of the machine.

Grade 50W800
A general-purpose fully processed grade for small and medium motors, fans and pumps where economical core loss is the main requirement.

Grade 50W600
A lower-loss step up from the standard grade for medium motors and compressors that need better efficiency at the same stack height.

Grade 50W470
A high-grade non-oriented steel for high-efficiency motors and generators where low loss at higher induction is required.

Grade 25W230
A thin-gauge, low-loss grade for high-speed and high-frequency machines where eddy current loss has to be kept low.

Grade 65W600
A 0.65 mm general-purpose grade for medium motors, compressors and pumps where a thicker lamination suits the existing stack and tooling.

Grade 35W300
A thinner gauge for high-speed motors and generators, where eddy current loss rises with operating frequency.
Grain-Oriented
Grain-oriented electrical steel is produced with a strongly preferred crystal orientation along the rolling direction, giving low core loss and high permeability in that direction. It is used for wound and stacked cores where the flux path follows the rolling direction.

Grade 23R075
A thin, high-permeability grain-oriented grade for transformer cores with demanding no-load loss targets.

Grade 20R070
The thinnest grade in the range, for transformer cores with very demanding no-load loss targets.

Grade 27Q085
A thinner, low-loss grain-oriented grade for power transformer cores and high-performance reactor applications.

Grade 30Q120
A conventional grain-oriented grade for distribution transformers where the loss budget allows a standard grade.

Grade 27Q100
A thin-gauge grade for transformer cores that need lower loss than 0.30 mm material at the same induction level.

Grade 23Q090
The thinnest grade in the range, for large power transformer cores where eddy current loss dominates the loss budget.
