23Q090 Grain-Oriented Electrical Steel

The thinnest grade in the range, for large power transformer cores where eddy current loss dominates the loss budget.

23Q090 Grain-Oriented Electrical Steel

23Q090 is specified for large cores where eddy current loss becomes a significant part of total loss. The 0.23 mm gauge reduces that component, and the coating is chosen to suit the customer's cutting and stacking method.

Because thin material is more sensitive to handling, coils are packed for transport and supplied with mill test certificates covering core loss, induction and coating class.
