27Q100 Grain-Oriented Electrical Steel

A thin-gauge grade for transformer cores that need lower loss than 0.30 mm material at the same induction level.

27Q100 Grain-Oriented Electrical Steel

27Q100 sits between the conventional 0.30 mm grades and the thinnest material in the range. Reducing gauge lowers eddy current loss, which allows a lower no-load loss at the same core dimensions.

The grade is supplied slit to width for winding or cutting lines, with coating options matched to the core building process and mill test certificates issued per coil.
