30Q120 Grain-Oriented Electrical Steel

A conventional grain-oriented grade for distribution transformers where the loss budget allows a standard grade.

30Q120 Grain-Oriented Electrical Steel

30Q120 is a conventional grain-oriented grade used in distribution transformer cores where a standard loss level is acceptable. Loss along the rolling direction is held low so that no-load loss stays within the design budget.

Material is supplied slit to the core width required by the winding line, with edge condition controlled to protect the insulation coating. Mill test certificates are issued with each delivery.
